Food Pantry

Berkeley Baptist Church is providing food boxes to those in need as requested.The designated time to pick up food boxes has been scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

We are accepting the following items for the Berkeley Baptist Church Food Pantry: soups (not creamed), canned fruit & vegetables, pancake mix and syrup, macaroni & cheese, canned meats, jams & peanut butter, boxed potatoes, puddings, jello, ketchup and mustard. In general, the basic non-perishable food items. All donations are greatly appreciated as the word is out that we have food. The request for food is consistent each week.

The church receives delivery from the food bank on the first Thursday of the month. Helpers are needed for this large task.

If you are willing to help prepare boxes or need to schedule a donation drop-off, please contact the church office.

In the first 9 months of 2010, more than 500 boxes of food and meat were distributed to over 200 families from the community that requested help. What a blessing to have the food pantry to minister to their need!
